Happy Thanksgiving from the ADM!
I am thankful for all of the new friends I’ve made in the podcasting industry. I’ve been a podcaster since 2005, but have only in the last year launched a podcasting network and started going to events like MeetUps and the (P)NME.
I have found this small but growing community to embody two of my favorite personal characteristics - technical acumen and creativity. The podcasting world incorporates the big media companies and a surprisingly rich group of rugged individualists.
I honor everyone of you today on this day of thanks.
I agree, Susan. This space if full of extremely creative, passionate and NICE people. It sure makes it pleasant to be a part of.
All I have to do is look through my Facebook friends to see how fortunate I’ve been to meet so many cool people through social media.
Either that, or it’s just evidence of what a geek I am ;).
Yes, strange how my “business contacts” have blended into “personal contacts” over the past two years. This didn’t happen to this degree before social media. Ah, right … SOCIAL media.
